TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL...

29th & 30th Nov 08

Now with Stunts, Jumps, Racing and Rock!

The Northam Motorcycle Festival is pleased to announce the latest additions for 2008, bringing even more action to Northam this November 29 – 30th.

With the insane Yamaha Showtime Stunt Team booked to fly-in from the Eastern States, show visitors are guaranteed to see some Freestyle Motocross that will leave them breathless. And if that’s not enough to get your blood pumping, the Matt Mingay Stunt Team will be back with even more madness. Matt Mingay is known to some as Tom Cruise’s stunt double from Mission Impossible 2, but anyone who’s been to the Northam Festival will know first-hand that this show is not one for the faint hearted.

Roll in and Rock Out - New Avon Valley Rocks Concert

An added bonus for Festival visitors this year is that The Hoodoo Gurus and Jon Stevens from Noiseworks will be playing live in concert on the Saturday night of the Festival at the Northam Race Course. Following the Avon concert, the Festival wiall continue on Sunday morning for a second day packed full of live entertainment.

NEW Super Moto Championships

For the first time ever, the Festival will feature actual racing on the streets of Northam with the Final Stage of the National Supermoto Championships on both days. This new aspect of the show will allow visitors to see Australia’s best Supermoto racers competing for the National Title up close and personal.

This year’s Autotrader/Healthways Show and Shine is also set to turn heads with entries from all over the state competing for a range of awards.

The annual Make a Difference (MAD) ride will run in conjunction with the festival this year – with proceeds going to spinal injury research and rehabilitation. Previous MAD rides have been highly successful and the Festival looks forward to welcoming them to Northam on the Sunday.
